Open Call for Submissions!
We are now accepting open short story submissions for the FIRST volume of our literary journal staring New Adults navigating the world they are in--from finding first love, to moving out of the childhood home, to deciding what to major in during college, to becoming a professional athlete (or dating one, particularly a hockey player!), to leading the post-apocalyptic revolution, to captaining a space ship, to ruling a nation as queen, and more.
While our focus remains on the colorful and fascinating experience of being a new adult, the characters' realities can be shown in the form of contemporary, historical, fantasy, paranormal, space, futuristic, dystopian, utopian, and more.

We welcome stories from aspiring writers, seasoned writers, and those in between. We are so eager and excited to read and make a home for writers and characters here at KHP! Once you're a KHP writer, we work with you and support you and your career.
Our aim is to publish our literary journal volumes in both print and in e-book.
